Gregorian chants.

Nicolás had to study the Gregorian chants for school. His textbook contained some information about its origins and history, and the teacher had also played some samples to the class at the school. So, aside from playing to him some pieces from the album Chant, by the Benedictine monks of Santo Domingo de Silos (which became a big hit quite a few years ago), we also decided to show him what the folks from Enigma had done with it.

Here is also the official version from the Virgin channel on YouTube, since they don't allow to embed their videos. And here is another one with the lyrics in French that we also played at home.

The purpose was to show the kids how it is perfectly possible to be creative with classic pieces.
